Wedding Cupcakes
Adorable Wedding Cupcakes
Using wedding cupcakes is a growing trend in which many brides
are happy to partake. Wedding cupcakes can be used instead of a
traditional wedding cake or in addition to the cake. They add a
modern twist to any wedding.
Most people remember cupcakes from childhood. Not too many adults
still indulge in cupcake, so they carry a childlike quality to them.
Cupcakes are not only cute to display but they are also easy to eat.
It usually takes a while for the wedding cake to be cut and
distributed. Cupcakes don’t have to be cut and can save time during
a reception.
When decorating wedding cupcakes brides should remember it is
probably not a great idea to use childlike décor such as sprinkles.
Wedding cupcakes, as fun as they are, should be a more mature
version of the classic cupcake. They should be decorated with class,
just as a wedding cake is decorated. Edible silver beads are a great
substitute for sprinkles.
Cupcakes are versatile because the bride can choose to use several
different flavors. Guests will love having their choice and the
bride will love not having to narrow down cake flavors. Imagine
being able to serve vanilla, chocolate, spice, and lemon cake all in
one wedding reception.
A guest list that includes many children is also an inviting reason
to include wedding cupcakes to the reception plans. The children
will go crazy for the cupcakes and parents will appreciate the child
friendly foods choice.
If you do choose to use wedding cupcakes you can still have a
regular sized wedding cake. If you have a small guest list and don’t
need both, consider ordering a small wedding cake for traditional
cutting purposes only. Therefore, you can have modern cupcakes, but
still participate in the traditional cutting of the cake. You may
decide to include the cupcakes with your other reception food if you
are having a wedding cake as well. This allows the guests to enjoy
their cake immediately if they wish.
Displaying cupcakes can be challenging. When displayed correctly
however, wedding cupcakes can be a beautiful sight. With this
growing trend, more bakeries are offering options for cupcake
display.
Cupcake tiers are a wonderful way to arrange your wedding sweets.
With these silver tiers, you can simply arrange the cupcakes in a
pleasing way. The finished product makes the cupcakes look like tiny
pieces making up a full sized wedding cake.
Another option is the cupcake bridge. This option is much like the
tiers and is made of silver as well. The cupcakes are positioned in
this bridge shaped holder and the outcome is obviously a cupcake
bridge.
If you are looking for a fun way to spice up your reception, think
about using wedding cupcakes. You can easily create a cupcake
arrangement that guests will be talking about even after the party
is over. Cupcakes are a great addition to any wedding reception. So,
try something new and include wedding cupcakes in your wedding
plans.
