Trendy Outdoor Aisle Decor

Outdoors weddings are wonderfully fun to participate in and attend. Adding an outdoor element to a wedding celebration creates beautiful memories for everyone involved. Finding the perfect outdoor wedding aisle decoration should be fun and exciting. Brides can use their creativity to put together easy outdoor wedding aisle decor in very little time and we all know saving time is a bride’s ultimate goal in planning.

For outdoor wedding aisle decor, we recommend Shindigz.com for a large selection and low prices.  For more online merchants, please visit our buyers guide.

For an outdoor wedding with a beach or tropical feel, brides may consider lining the aisles with palm trees. These trees can be set at the end of every aisle, creating a palm tree walkway. This looks wonderful in photographs and sets a tropical feel to your ceremony. Make sure your palms are tall enough for guests to walk under and see over. Taller palm trees also offer shade for your guests which can be wonderful for a daytime wedding.

For a wedding in the country or a springtime wedding, brides might consider using blooming fruit trees to line the aisle. Pear trees or apple trees that bloom are wonderful additions to outdoor wedding decor. These trees usually have white flower blooms that coordinate with any wedding color. Some blooming cherry trees have pink blossoms that are also beautiful to use. By lining the aisle with these trees, it creates a feeling of home and comfort. The trees can also offer shade and should be tall enough to not distract guests.

Topiaries are easy solutions for outdoor aisle decorations. Brides can simply set the topiaries at the end of the aisles. They can be used as they come or decorated to fit the wedding’s theme. Small ornaments, ribbon, or tulle work wonderfully in the decoration of any topiary.

For an evening wedding, brides may consider lighting the aisle with tiki torches. These tall torches look beautiful for a beach or tropical wedding, however they can be used anywhere. Simply stick the torch directly into the ground and light the wick. They will create a lovely glow for your wedding ceremony and give the wedding as island feel. Guests will love the fun decorative statement tiki torches make.

For a wedding with an Asian theme, bamboo is great to use for aisle decorations. Gather porcelain pots with Asian designs on them and plant tall shoots of bamboo in each pot. Set the pots along the aisle for a lovely oriental look. The taller the bamboo, the more of a statement you will make. Pots in shades of red or blue with Asian pictures painted on them are perfect for this idea. Make sure you set these in places where guests will not knock them over, as the pots will break easily.

Outdoor wedding aisle decoration can take any form. It is very easy to take outdoor elements such as palm or pear trees and use them in your aisle decor. Things that are typical to the outdoors usually work best for outdoor aisle decor, as it keeps with the natural beauty of the wedding location. So, look around and find inspiration in the things that already exist outdoors when planning outdoor wedding aisle decorations.
