country western wedding is lace. Lace is a classic part of most
country decor and should be used in abundance. Brides can use lace
to decorate candelabras, gift tables, and pews.

brides can add a sprig of baby’s breath or other wedding flower,

cones out of paper then cover them with lace. The cones can then be
attached and filled with petals to toss at the bride and groom

receptions.
An interesting idea for a reception in this theme is to hire a
square dance instructor to come in and teach the guests a few simple
dances. The guests will love the interaction and it will help to
break the ice at the reception as well.
Decor for the reception should include colors of red, white, and
blue. It should be somewhat patriotic. Very few Southern homes are
without an American flag flying from their porch, and a country
western reception should go along with the patriotism concept.
Food can be country inspired as well. Mashed potatoes, green beans,
corn, and chicken are great dishes to serve at a country western
theme wedding. Anything that reminds you of home is probably
appropriate.
Country western theme weddings are laidback events. Not only do the bride
and groom have a blast, so do the guests. The underlying idea in
