Gazebo Decoration Ideas for Weddings
Every year many brides opt to have their wedding ceremony held
in a gazebo. Gazebo’s are romantic looking and provide a
beautiful focal point for guests to watch the ceremony.
There are many gazebo decoration ideas for these brides.
Depending on what time of year your wedding is held can
determine the theme of the decorations. June brides may choose
roses and streamers; July brides may choose patriotic bunting
and fall brides have used a variety of decorations including
leaves and sunflowers.
Seaside gazebo decoration ideas can include shells, flowers,
bunting, and swags as lavishly as the bride desires. Seashells
can cover the entire gazebo but may cost a small fortune. A
simpler, less expensive way is to make decorations from
seashells that can be hung from bunting.
You can hang a swag of tulle to frame the front of the gazebo
and then hang or sew seashells onto the swag in keeping with
your theme. Seaside weddings can also use a variety of flowers
either traditional with roses and calla lilies or go tropical
with exotic flowers.
Other gazebo decoration ideas include the fairytale theme. Swags
of tulle and roses can be hung from the gazebo on the front or
on all sides. Place small roman columns on either side of the
entrance to the gazebo and decorate them with tulle and small
containers of the roses. Ivy can also be incorporated into the
swag if you want more greenery in your decorations.
Patriotic gazebo decoration ideas can be subtle or you can go
all out. Brides can hang the traditional red, white and blue
buntings from the sides of their gazebo and decorate with white
roses and babies breath. Some brides may opt for the color
scheme but use a single swag on the front of the gazebo.
Decorations around the gazebo can include simple potted plants
with small flags in amongst the flowers.
Floral gazebo decoration ideas don’t have to cost a fortune. You
can achieve a dramatic effect by choosing a large floral
decoration for the top center of your gazebo and then two
smaller floral decorations to hang on either side of the
entrance to the gazebo. You can also simply add three large
floral decorations at the three arch points to the gazebo.
Coming up with original gazebo decoration ideas isn’t
impossible. Curly willow is a popular way to decorate your
gazebo. Gazebos made of wrought iron are then decorated with the
curly willow. The decorators may then add mini lights if it is
an evening wedding, the bride’s choice of flowers, gossamer or
tulle and finish the look with babies’ breath and ribbons.
With many gazebo decoration ideas to choose from, finding one to
fit your personal tastes and your wedding are as easy as
choosing your flowers. Brides can decide whether they wish to
make the creations themselves or have the swags and flowers
designed by a florist or wedding designer. Either way, the bride
is sure to make her own statement by the design and floral
arrangements she chooses for her gazebo wedding.
