Red Wedding Decorations Can Add Pizzazz To Your Special Day
For many brides, choosing wedding colors can be stressful and
challenging. How do you include your favorite colors while at the
same time, making sure the wedding still looks classy?
There are many ways to select colors that work together while
avoiding the “usual” colors that appear at the majority of
wedding, such as pink and white. In many cases, brides choose
light, pastel colors that are sure to match their white dress and
the flowers that they may choose to have during the ceremony.
However, there is no reason why you can’t include bold, bright,
vibrant colors that will be eye catching and fun – red is an
example of such a color. The following article will provide some
tips and helpful hints on red wedding decoration options for your
wedding.
Red is a bright color that is associated with passion, love and
warmth. After all, it’s one of the main colors that we use on
Valentine’s Day! It’s also a color that can look incredibly
elegant and classy when used properly to accent wedding decor.
The first and most obvious way to include a red wedding decoration
is via the flowers. Many beautiful flowers that are appropriate
for weddings come in the color red – red roses are by far the most
common and they are always a great decorating choice for weddings.
Other red flowers that work well in weddings are tulips, Gerber
daisies or amaryllis – all come in different shades of red
(ranging from light to dark) and can be used according to any type
of wedding theme, from casual to very formal.
Another great way to use a red wedding decoration is by dressing
tables and chairs with bright red ribbon or bows. Simple bows and
ribbon decorations can look classy and sophisticated when they
appear in a bright color like red, and they will make even the
most simple piece of furniture stand out!
Red balloons are another way to include the color red in your
wedding and balloons tend to be more affordable than flowers, so
it’s easy to use a lot of them!
The color red can also bring some pizzazz to your wedding cake.
The advances that professional bakers have brought to the wedding
cake industry in terms of color and design make way for a lot of
creativity these days. For example, you may choose to design your
wedding cake like something red that exists in nature – for
example, a flower or a tropical fish (depending on your wedding
theme).
Or, you may want a colorless cake (white) that has different types
of red items accenting the different layers, such as ruby red
fruit (strawberries, cherries), flowers, birds or beach umbrellas.
Use your imagination to choose something that fits within your
wedding theme.
Using red wedding decorations for wedding favors is also a stylish
way to accent the room with the color red. For example, dress dark
chocolate truffles in red foil wrapping and/or place upscale
chocolates (such as Godiva) in bright red boxes for guests to take
home.
You can also incorporate the color into your wedding by providing
guests with tiny red-colored frames. Many couples choose to
include wedding pictures in their thank-you cards to guests who
attend their wedding. Providing them with a space to put your
picture is a way to ensure that your friends and family have
something by which to remember your special day.
Red wedding decorations are for anyone who wants to
accent their decor with something bright and eye catching.
Furthermore, it’s fun and original. So, if you’re thinking of
spicing up your wedding, try using red!
