Get Romantic With Heart Theme Wedding
Who says that hearts are just for Valentines Day? Why not bring
out your romantic side by planning a heart themed wedding for your
special day? After all, weddings are all about love, and what
better expresses love than a wedding ceremony filled with hearts?
Start out your heart theme wedding the perfect selection of
wedding invitations. They can be create in soft colors, such as
pale rose, or more lustful romantic colors such as deep reds and
purples. Your invitations should set the theme for your entire
wedding.
Your dress should reek of romance, and the best way to do this is
to wear either a princess style gown full of layers of soft
flowing fabric, or for a more formal wedding, a long sleek off the
shoulder gown with a long flowing train. In addition, the groom
should be dressed to the hilt with a formal tuxedo. Dress your
maid of honor and bridesmaids in formal wear with long white
gloves for that added touch of romance.
Your location will need to be transformed into a place of utter
romance. Use lots of chantilly lace and chiffon in either soft
colors or white and off-whites. Place fresh flowers everywhere and
choose them not only for their beauty, but for their scent as
well. It wouldn’t hurt to help mother nature a bit by adding drops
of rose water on all of the light bulbs and other scattered areas
of the room.
Your table linens should be of the finest quality, and you should
include hearts as accent pieces, both in your table centerpieces
as well as draped along the chairs and tables. Again, those hearts
can be soft and subtle, or feisty and passionate by using deep
rich shades of reds and purples.
Your food must be prepared with romance in mind. Think light
dishes with lots of chantilly cream and succulent sauces. Talk to
a caterer and explain your desire for a romance-ridden affair and
ask her for her best ideas.
Make the cake cutting ceremony a smash hit by slicing into a red
velvet cake decorated with chocolate hearts. Use a crystal cake
cutter, and whatever you do, don’t smash cake in your spouse’s
face!
You must leave a heart theme romantic wedding in style. Try
renting a horse drawn carriage that is lined with dainty hearts
and fresh cut flowers. Throw your bouquet from the carriage to
ingrain the memory in your guest’s minds forever.
Of course, you can’t have a heart theme romantic wedding without
leaving for the ultimate in romantic honeymoons. Whether that
means a long sun-soaked vacation at an exclusive beach or a
closed-in weekend at a ski resort, you will have to make the most
of it so that the romance continues!
