Fire: Fire represents the Yang - the energetic aspect of the
relationship. Traditionally, it is represented by the color red -

represent fire in the decorating scheme for your Asian wedding.
Metal: For centuries, metal has meant prosperity. Gold, silver,
copper, bronze and even brass can be incorporated into the table
settings or room decorations to invite prosperity into your new
marriage. Silver, white and gold are the colors most commonly
associated with metal.
Water: The element of life itself, water represents emotion and
power. Fountains and water bowls that hold floating blossoms or
candles are a very popular wedding table centerpiece.
Earth: Stability and strength are hallmarks of both Earth and a
strong, long lasting marriage. Invoke earth at your wedding with
terracotta planters, or centerpieces that combine water over
stones. Add floating candles and lotus, and mount the water bowl
on a rounded brass pedestal to call on all five elements in a
harmonious whole.
Used properly, feng shui can add meaning and style to your Asian
style wedding decorations. By calling on the beauty of harmony
within the elements, you'll be inviting all the good things into
